Growing up at Cheryl’s Children’s Home, Betty received key nutrition and health services to ensure her well-being. As a recent graduate – and as the smile on her face indicates – Betty is an eager learner and is realizing her academic potential because of your gifts to 4:13. Here is a recent statement summarizing her experience:
“My school’s name is International Hotel and Tourism Institute. It is located in Kileleshwa in Kenya. I do Menu planning, conference and banqueting, world kitchen theory and practicals, and passetrie in which I specialize in baking, planning and management.
What I like about IHTI is that it is internationally known and we are assured of job opportunities after our course work. We also go for internship to practice before we can begin working. I personally love hospitality because I get to meet different people and serve them food and even do housekeeping. At some point we might be involved with so many guests and do tiresome work but we encourage ourselves and keep on moving. My ambition in life is to be an executive chef in a seven-star hotel.”
“Thank you for the support you have been giving me. I really thank God for all of you. Always know that you are the most important people in my life.”
